With The Children’s Clothing Carousel subscription, you get access to a pre-loved designer wardrobe featuring 100+ brands. Shipping and cleaning are always included.

 

We offer capsules of 5, 10, or 20 items. When you send items back to us for a capsule refresh, we will send you a replacement garment/s ensuring you always have the same amount you signed up for i.e. 5, 10 or 20.

Pre-loved fashion means clothes that have been worn before. The garments in The Children’s Clothing Carousel wardrobe range from near-new (hardly worn), to well-worn but still in good condition. The term emphasises that the garments are not simply second-hand but have been cherished and cared for by their previous owners.

 

Pre-loved fashion promotes sustainability by reducing waste, extending the lifecycle of garments, and often offering unique or vintage pieces that are not available in current retail collections.

Our subscription options are 5 items for $49, 10 for $99, or 20 for $169 charged monthly.

Yes, of course, we’re sorry to see you go, but understand things may change. You may cancel at any time but must return all The Children’s Clothing Carousel garments before the end of your billing period or incur additional charges.

To cancel your subscription, log into your Account Portal, and click on the ‘Subscriptions’ tab. You can cancel your subscription here.

Once you’ve cancelled your subscription, charges will cease. You may keep the clothes until the end of that billing period, but no refunds will be paid.

We understand things change and you may need to pause your subscription for one or more months. Once you’ve paused, you must return all The Children’s Clothing Carousel garments before your next billing date. 

 

It’s important to note that if you choose to pause but don’t return all garments before your next billing date, you might still be charged the regular monthly fee.

To pause your subscription, log into your Account Portal, and click on the ‘Subscriptions’ tab. You can pause your subscription here.

Yes – of course! You can reactivate your subscription at any time. The date that you reactivate your subscription will become your new monthly billing date.

It’s up to you! With our 5-item capsule, you can return all 5 items and receive new ones each month. For the 10 and 20-item capsules, you can swap individual items more frequently.

If you have an active subscription, you can keep the clothes for as long as you require. We find most people return the pieces for a refresh after about three months as their child has grown or the season has changed. If you haven’t returned any pieces for a little while, we will check in with you.

Yes! Our subscription plans are designed to be responsive to your needs and your little one’s lifestyle. You can change between 5, 10, or 20 capsules, pause, or cancel, at any time. It’s common for members to add more items as their little ones grow, have a special occasion, or are heading on a holiday.

Coming soon! We will have special occasion outfits and costumes available for one off rental.

Not specifically, but if we have an item like a hat or scarf that complements your capsule, we might include it for free!

Yes, what a great present for a new parent! Gift Cards may be purchased via our website. Gift Cards are redeemable only for Subscriptions. 

 

A Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.

We understand that life gets busy, so our Gift Cards are valid for 2 years from date of issue.

You should treat your Gift Card like cash and keep it safe. If you believe you have lost or misplaced your gift card, contact us immediately and we can make a record of the loss.

Your billing date is set as the date you purchase your subscription and serves as your start date.

Yes, of course, we’re all about travel!! We make it super easy to have the perfect wardrobe for that ski trip or tropical getaway without the hefty price tag!

Your first capsule typically arrives within 3-5 business days from the date you place your order. Once we have received your order, our Capsule Curators will quickly get to work choosing the perfect pieces for your little one.

 

Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the current demand, but we strive to get it to you as quickly as possible. If you have any specific delivery requirements or need assistance tracking your order, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.

The details you provide about your child are stored in your Account Portal. We only use this info to help our Capsule Curators tailor each capsule to suit your lifestyle and needs. We don’t use it for anything else, and we never share it.

Yes. When you subscribe to a monthly capsule wardrobe, we ask you to tell us about your child’s personality and lifestyle. You can request specific items or brands here and we will do our best to fulfill your wishes.

If an item doesn’t fit or it doesn’t suit, you can swap it! For a 5-item capsule, however, we don’t do individual swaps, but give us a shout and we’ll see what we can do to help. If you’ve got a 10 or 20-item capsule, just log into your Account Portal and hit the Swap button on your ‘Capsule Detail’ tab.

No, we’re all digital 😊However, we do hold Carousel Soirees from time to time to launch new season garments or pop-up sales and have a champagne with our community! Follow us on socials to get updates.

When you subscribe, we ask you to tell us about your child’s personality and lifestyle – what colours do they like? Are they tomboy or fairy princess or both!? Do they hate wearing trousers? Or do they love jumping in puddles and need everything waterproof?

 

Whatever your needs, The Children’s Clothing Carousel subscription lets you access the wardrobe of your little one’s dreams. All items have been selected by us for quality, functionality, and style.  We’ve got funky onesies, luxe coats, glitzy dresses, statement co-ords, beach wear, and everything in between.

 

If you select the 5-item capsule, you will receive the essential pieces for the season whilst the 20-item capsule will include a wider variety of styles.

Yes! One of the key benefits of a The Children’s Clothing Carousel subscription is that you can try new styles, fall in love, and purchase at a discount. Buying the pieces in your capsule is as easy as reaching out to us. 

 

The purchase price is based on the impact of removing that item from circulation and the price to replace it with a comparable item.

If you believe you have accidentally sent anything back to us that isn’t ours, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to assist but assume no responsibility or liability if we cannot locate such items.

We only source from reputable brands and stores so authenticity is always guaranteed. We also prioritise garments with character and/or special qualities and features so our wardrobe is filled with personality.

Our goal is that your pre-loved items arrive in great condition. That means minor imperfections may be present but won’t impact the overall look. All items are thoroughly inspected, cleaned and restored each time they go through our quality assurance process.

Yes, you can donate clothes! If they don’t make it into to The Children’s Clothing Carousel wardrobe, we may donate, recycle or upcycle them.

Due to the smaller number of pieces, we try to make the 5-item capsule as versatile as possible so is curated from a more ‘limited subscription wardrobe’ of essential, functional pieces, from brands like Country Road, Seed, and Ralph Lauren. 

 

The 10 and 20-item capsules are curated from the ‘full subscription wardrobe’ which has 600+ garment types, including some specialised garments from higher-end brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe, or Baby Dior.

When you find a style you love, click the heart icon to the right of the item. This saves your favourites so that you can find them at a later date.

 

“Hearting” different styles is how you organise and save items you love. It’s also your way of giving a “thumbs up” to items you prefer, which helps us customise and improve your personalised capsules. We recommend hearting any item you think you might want your little one to wear in the future so that your favourites are saved for every occasion.

The Children’s Clothing Carousel will charge your payment method (including all applicable taxes and fees) the amount of the rental fee immediately upon your rental order. This date is your billing date.

The billing period is the number of days between your monthly billing dates i.e. the 15 March to 15 April is one billing period.

We cannot change or move your billing date once you’ve signed up for one of our subscriptions.

Your privacy is super important to us. Any information you give us, like your credit card details or postal address, is kept completely secure and confidential – we never share it.

The applicable fee will automatically renew, on your billing date until you pause or cancel your subscription.

To swap/exchange items, go to your Account Portal, the ‘Subscriptions’ tab, and check the box ‘Swap’ next to each item you would like to exchange, follow the prompts to send it back to us, and we’ll arrange for your replacement to be sent out. Easy as that!

On your ‘Subscriptions’ page in your Account Portal, the ‘Swap’ box will be at the right of each garment in your capsule.

 

If you’ve already swapped items, the swap button won’t be available again until the Carousel team has received the returned garments and sent out the new item/s.

 

If it seems like something else is going on, please get in touch.

Swap and Exchange: Swapping or exchanging means trading one or more items in your capsule for something different during your subscription period. You send back the items that don’t work, tell us why, and we send you the replacements.

 

Return: Returning means sending an item or items back without getting a replacement/s. This is done when you pause or cancel your subscription.

When you initiate an exchange, we handle it seamlessly behind the scenes. You select the item you want to exchange on your Account Portal and let us know why (so we can provide a more appropriate replacement). We will send a replacement once we’ve received the returned item.

Once you mark an item for exchange, please return it promptly (within 24 hours). We understand life can get busy, so if there’s a delay or any issue, please let us know  right away.

Exchanges are totally up to you, however you can only exchange individual items with a 10 or 20-item capsule.  We find most people return the pieces for a refresh after about three months as their child has grown or the season has changed. If you haven’t returned any pieces for over four months, we will check in with you.

If you have a 10 or 20-item capsule, you can swap any item at any time. The 5-item capsule however can only be exchanged as a whole and at the end of the billing period.

Although most Australia Post locations are closed on Sundays (and Public Holidays), you can still send your items back via an Australia Post drop box on your rental end date. If you are sending your items back at an Australia Post store which may be closed on Sunday or a public holiday, you may drop it off by 12pm on the day following your rental end date and you will not be charged any additional fees.

Due to the nature of pre-loved garments, they are purchased on an ‘as is’ basis and cannot be returned.

Goodbyes are hard. That’s why we’ve made returns super easy! All shipments include a prepaid return label and reusable mail bag to send the clothes back.

If you have lost or damaged the return packaging that we provide, you will be responsible for returning the garment/s to us in your own packaging, at your own expense.

Your Account Portal will provide a status update at each milestone. 

 

Please note you are responsible for providing us with accurate shipping information for deliveries and for keeping the shipping information for your Account up to date.

Yes, your tracking details (from Australia Post) will be available to view in your Account Portal under the ‘Subscriptions’ tab.

We take shipping speed seriously. 99% of orders arrive within 3 business days, however we are beholden to the Australia Post timeframes. Please ensure to use your tracking number to follow your package.

Anywhere there’s an address!

While Australia Post locations aren’t open, their postal services still operate. So, deliveries can happen on weekends, but it depends on the carrier’s schedule.

Yes. Just enter the address you’d like the package delivered to under Shipping Address ‘My Profile’ in the in your Account Dashboard.

We’d prefer a street address, but if you want us to post to a PO Box, please drop us a note when completing your order as to why a street address won’t work for you, and we’ll do our best to get it to you safely!

We want to make it as easy as possible for you, and it is posted without a signature, however, if you’d prefer to sign for it, drop us a message or email and we will add a signature for you.

Your shipments may occasionally arrive in two separate packages, as the items may be bulkier, especially in the cooler months. If your order is shipped in two packages, you will be notified in your shipping confirmation for each package.

If you can’t find your order, first double-check the tracking to ensure it was delivered.

 

If the tracking shows the order was delivered, check around your property in case the package was placed in a hidden location. We also recommend checking with anyone that might have accepted the package on your behalf: neighbours, roommates, etc.

 

If the tracking shows that your order is still in transit, it may have experienced a delay.

All capsules and purchases come with a pre-paid Australia Post return label. For the most seamless return experience, we recommend using the prepaid label and The Children’s Clothing Carousel garment bag.



If you choose to send items back with a different mail carrier, you will incur the cost. We recommend purchasing tracking information with the mail carrier you select because you will be responsible for item/s that are not returned.

A normal wash of your items is requested before you return them. Please follow the care instructions on the garment or contact us if you’re not sure. We recommend checking pockets before washing to ensure there are no tissues, rocks, or toys left inside. This helps maintain the longevity of the garments.

Your subscription fee covers general wear and tear. A nominal fee (based on its replacement price) will be charged if the item is damaged beyond repair and must be retired.

We get it, accidents happen. If your child has an accident or rips their clothes, let us know as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to sort it out. If the item can’t be repaired and needs to be retired, there may be a nominal fee (based on its replacement price).

Our rentals are thoroughly cleaned between uses, and we prioritise using natural products. This ensures every garment looks and feels its best while better for the environment. Plus, we steer clear of halogenated solvents like Perchloroethylene (PERC).

Our goal is to have all items arrive to you in excellent condition. If an item/s in your capsule is damaged, or not as described, please get in touch with us right away. The sooner you let us know, the sooner we can get you a replacement! The item must be returned within 24 hours of requesting a replacement/s.

We don’t allow any alterations. You can use fashion tape to temporarily adjust your little one’s look, but please remove it before returning the item.

When our clothes are ready to retire, we focus on eco-friendly and sustainable solutions.

Donation: We partner with local charities and organisations to donate gently used items, giving them a second life to those in need.

Recycling: Clothes that are no longer wearable are sent to textile recycling facilities where they can be repurposed into new materials, reducing landfill waste.

Upcycling: We encourage creative upcycling projects, turning old clothes into new, unique items or accessories.

We try to ensure that our clothes have minimal impact on the environment and continue to serve a purpose even after they’ve been outgrown.
